Custom Cabinet Door & Drawer Replacement Ordering Caveats

• All LXI custom replacement cabinet door and drawers are individually hand fabricated at a professional millwork shop and considered special order products, ie. non-returnable.
• LXI does not perform final painting, staining, or clear-coating of replacement cabinet doors and drawer fronts. We recommend consulting professional painters to handle this task.
• Our fabricators DO provide the option to have them handle the finished look aspect with stain, paint, clear-coat and finish styles. However, while we have the upmost faith in our millworkers abilities, LXI does not assume responsibility for final custom finishes or appearance on special order items.
• However, we have seen customer(s) successfully handling this task with assistance from DIY experts via the internet and reputable sources. We have a client who recently completed this task DIY who also serves as an LXI client referral and reference. We have a feeling they will be more than happy to share their newfound knowledge, tips & tricks.
• LXI custom replacement doors use concealed Euro hinges with soft close technology. These superior designed hinges also remove from the cabinet base with a simple release button and easily snap back on. Great for cleaning. This attribute also makes it possible to complete final staining, painting or finishing of the doors after the replacement and final adjustment process has been completed by LXI.
• There are two general cabinet base structures: Framed and Frameless. Framed cabinets essentially means that you can see cabinet panel facing around the cabinet doors when they are fully closed. Frameless essentially means that when the doors are fully closed, you don’t see cabinet panel facing around the doors.
• We cater to both styles of cabinetry structure, and install Euro concealed hinges with soft-close technology as well.
• An aspect to consider between these two styles is “how will the final finished replacements doors look when viewed and compared to the look of the existing cabinet-panel face? “(This is an occurrence for most framed” style cabinet boxes)
